When Meridian Web Access is installed, the default download location for the Meridian Web Client is set by the installer. However, depending on what components are installed, the setup package may not have been copied to that location. A default web page and its supporting files are also installed in the download location. The page contains download and installation instructions and a link to download the setup package.
Note The page includes only a link to the 32-bit (default) web client setup package. If you need a link to the 64-bit setup package, you must edit the page as described in the following task.
To customize the Meridian Web Client download location:
If the Meridian Web Client setup package was copied to the Web Access server during Meridian Enterprise installation, move or copy the contents of the Meridian Web Client setup subfolder from the Web Access server to the new location. By default, it is located at C:\Inetpub\AMM\Res\OWC.
OR
If the Meridian Web Client setup package was not copied to the Web Access server during Meridian Enterprise installation, obtain a copy of the Meridian Web Client setup package and save it to C:\Inetpub\AMM\Res\OWC. In a standard installation of Web Access, the folder AMM is shared as the Web Access application name Meridian. Depending on the security configuration of your web server, you may need to create and share a different folder.
Remove the comment tags shown in bold in the following example and save the file:
<!------ uncomment this line if you have 64-bit Meridian Web Client setup <a href="Meridian Web Client (x64).exe"><img src="CompressedFolder.png" style="border-style: none;" />Meridian Web Client (x64).exe</a></p> -->
Users may now download the Meridian Web Client from your web server and install it without needing access to the Internet.
